What to Expect During Your New Patient Exam

First and foremost you can expect to be welcomed, listened to, and cared for.

The Source Chiropractic is a Connection-Based, Results-Driven office, we use functional measures to assess your current state, and create care plans to help you not only get better, but improve your health for the long run.

Below is your New Patient Process:

Step 1: Consultation

This is an opportunity to discuss with your chiropractor exactly what brought you in, the outcomes you desire, and how chiropractic care can help you meet your goals.

Step 2: Digital Posture & Movement Analysis

Using video technology we will assess your current posture, walking and squat movement patterns. This allows us to detect dysfunction within your pelvis, knees and feet, imbalances in your body as well as see how much stress and strain is in the upper back and neck.

Step 3: Neuro-Spinal Analysis

The most detailed approach, we treat you like the individual you are; because every single spine and nerve system is 100% unique. The neuro-spinal exam is performed so that your chiropractor understands specifically how you and your spine move and/or don’t move, and determine the root cause of what you are experiencing.

Step 4: X-Ray (based on exam findings)

After completion of the consultation, digital posture & movement analysis, and neuro-spinal analysis, the chiropractor will determine if further examination and pictures of your spine are necessary to provide you with state-of-the-art chiropractic care. This is not always required.

Step 5: Schedule Next Visit

Our office manager will then assist you in scheduling your next visit at a time that works best for you. During visit #2, what we call the Report of Findings, you will receive a copy of your initial functional assessment results. The doctor will explain to you their analysis of the assessment and discuss what are the best steps moving forward to meet your health needs, and be presented a care plan that is specific to you. Yes, everyone gets a different plan! You will be able to discuss which financial options best meet your needs. And it is during this visit you will receive your first specific chiropractic adjustment.

What's Your Source Score & Plan of Action?

The Source Chiropractic prides itself in developing a plan that is unique to you. Based on all of our functional measures, we develop a Source Score to determine how to best get you and or your family the results you are looking for and what you can expect from The Source Chiropractic. This score allows us to start each individual on a care plan that is unique to them.

Commonly Asked Questions:

What should I wear?

During your initial exam process we recommend you wear comfortable athletic clothing. Clothing that is unrestrictive is ideal as we will be evaluating your quality of movement.

Will I get Adjusted on the first visit?

The Source Chiropractic prides itself in developing unique function based care plans that are individualized for each person. We use all of the information from the initial exam to develop a care plan that is specific to restoring function for each individual. Depending on the initial exam findings and person’s presentation people may or may not be referred for diagnostic imaging; and the Doctor will take the time ot analyze your exam to come up with the most appropriate approach to caring for you. Therefore people will receive their first adjustment after your Doctors Report of Findings and Care Plan Discussion, on the second visit.

Do you take insurance?

We are an out-of-network chiropractic care office. Depending on your insurance coverage if you receive out-of-network chiropractic benefits, we provide a “super-bill” for reimbursement. We offer affordable care plans to make sure every person and family can afford chiropractic care.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, you will find that kids LOVE the Source Chiropractic. We are a family empowerment center, we invite families to have their children’s spines checked as well, as they are learning to walk, falling down, or playing sports; kids spines are subjected to as much or more stress than adults.

Do you have family rates?

Yes! Additional family members or partners within the same household receive 50% off their initial exam price as well as 50% off their adjustment visit care plan. We do this to provide the best chiropractic service at an affordable price for whole families, as we believe people benefit greater when their family support system is also seeking proactive health options.
